At Iron Rock Farm, we believe the best farm experiences are the ones where you can get your hands dirty and make memories that stay with you long after you leave.

Spend time getting to know the animals, wander through our barns and pastures, cuddle a brand-new calf, take a horse for a stroll or simply slow down and enjoy the rhythm of farm life. Whether you’re bringing the kids, planning a special outing or looking for something a little different, our experiences are designed to create memories that will last a lifetime.

The Farm Experience

OUR SIGNATURE PACKAGE

Duration: 1.5 hours
Guests: Up to 6 people ($30 for each additional guest)
Description: Come behind the scenes and experience Iron Rock Farm. Your guided tour takes you through our barns and around the farm, where you’ll meet and interact with our horses, cattle, Babydoll sheep, chickens and donkeys.
You’ll get a closer look at daily farm life, learn about the animals that call Iron Rock home and have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, take photos, pet and interact with the animals along the way.
Cost: $250
Calf Cuddling: Get cozy with our newest calves in our covered calf-cuddling stall.
Cost: $100
Horse Handling: Choose a horse and take them for a leisurely stroll using a halter and lead rope.
Cost: $25 per horse
Horse Ride: Spend some time with Vixen for a gentle ride or lead-around experience.
Cost: $50
Carriage Ride: Sit back and enjoy a carriage ride through the farm and out to the cattle pasture.

Calf Cuddling

Duration: 45 minutes
Guests: Up to 6 people
Description: There’s nothing quite like getting to spend some one-on-one time with a newborn calf.
Our stand-alone calf-cuddling experience gives your group dedicated time in our covered calf-cuddling stall to meet, pet and cuddle our newest arrivals.

A LITTLE FARM TIME FOR OUR LITTLEST FRIENDS

Barnyard Buddies

Dates: 2027 Dates Coming Soon!
Time: 10am-12pm
Description: Farm life is better when you can experience it together.
Barnyard Buddies is a special mommy-and-me-style farm experience designed for children ages 3–8. Each session combines animal interaction, exploration, crafts and plenty of time to simply play and enjoy being outside. Pack a lunch and make a morning of it! Sessions limited to 10 children.
Cost: $160 per child per month
Sibling Discount: $140 per each additional sibling

TAKE THE CLASSROOM OUTSIDE

School Field Trips

Duration: 2 hours
Description: Our school field trips bring students onto the farm for an interactive, educational experience filled with hands-on learning. Students will tour the property and rotate through interactive educational stations led by Iron Rock Farm staff.
It’s an opportunity to learn about animals, agriculture and farm life all while getting a little fresh air.
Cost: $25 per student, $20 per teacher/adult

JUST THE TWO OF YOU

Private Date Night

Duration: 2 hours
Guests: 2 people
Description: Skip the crowded restaurant and settle in for a private evening at Iron Rock Farm. Your night begins with a beautifully set table for two inside our horse barn, creating a cozy and unforgettable setting for dinner, conversation and a little time away from the everyday.
Enjoy a charcuterie board for two, spend time visiting with the horses and bring along your own dinner and drinks to make the evening your own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Closed-toe shoes are required. We also recommend comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dusty or dirty. This is a working farm, after all!
Don't forget sunscreen, a hat and a reusable water bottle on warmer days.
Most of our experiences have covered areas, so a little rain won’t necessarily stop the fun. In the case of hurricanes or severe weather, we will work with you to reschedule your experience
We understand that sometimes plans change. Experiences may be rescheduled due to illness or weather on a case-by-case basis.
Our farm experiences are open to all ages. Whether you're visiting with family, friends or a group, children and adults alike will enjoy meeting the animals, exploring the farm, and creating lasting memories together.
For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests and animals, we require that children be supervised by an adult throughout the visit.

Absolutely! Depending on the experience, you’ll have opportunities to interact with the animals and we’ll provide approved treats when feeding is part of your visit.
Please do! We want you to capture the memories. Be sure to tag us on social media when you share your photos so we can see your farm day, too.
Yes. Some areas of the farm have gravel terrain, but we want everyone to be able to enjoy their visit. Buggy transportation is available when needed.
